Hoping for advice that is easy AND cheap (lol). Behind the rear seats, I had pulled the contoured material cover that goes over the rear wall, seatbelt mechanisms and window motor to pull wires for lights I installed in the rear bumper. I bumped the cable that goes from the motor to the window, its spring popped out of its “cradle” so it lost tension and just leaned over. I popped it back in. I decided to see if it worked still, so I hit the button. Motor is fine, cables did not snap but the little plastic tab that connects the cable to the window broke and then the cable un-spooled. After 10 minutes of F-bombs, I just put the cover back on & pretend it didn’t happen.
Is it “fixable” DIY or other? Who/ what shop does it?
Thanks

Had this issue while in Mexico the over the weekend. I held the close button for too long while the satellite phone antenna was ran through the window, snapped off those plastic tabs that hold the cable.

I bought this off ebay: https://www.ebay.com/itm/2658947540...d=link&campid=5338805043&toolid=20001&mkevt=1

I called a window shop to see if they can remove the slider window, replace this piece and put it back together. Will report back on the turnout.

You can get the part from the dealer for $16. There’s 1 great YouTube video. You need a special drill bit from harbor freight ($4). Took me an hour to replace it
