Is there a particular reason they are made loose so they always fall back down into the seat crevice? Anyone come up with a good way to add some friction to it to keep the buckle slots up and still be able to pivot it down if needed?

Yeah, you have the airbags in the belts? My 8 year old gets annoyed with them as they fall down. I’ve tried tightening the bolt to no luck. Also can’t get the bolt out to put a lock washer or anything on it lol.

Dang. Maybe a thick rubber washer? Cut it so I could slip it in there.

Yeah, I am struggling to find a use case where this design meets customer expectations. what i did was position my cargo in the under seat storage bin so as to hold the seat belt in a human reachable position.
