Hey guys first post here, wondering if anyone has installed the rear 3.5 baja king shocks on a 2019.

just wondering about the weld in brackets to the rear diff tubes, and if anyone has pictures of the cutout of the shock clearances in the box.

thanks!

So here is the setup we were shipped from Baja kits with the king 3.5 shocks .
F92DB599-9DF7-489D-8007-6C4137791DCC.jpegThe lower mounts are welded in pretty close to 90degrees from the top of the diff tube 70A2D059-E039-4C84-851F-6D233E64686D.jpeg

Ran into a few issues like if you are using the king 3.5 shocks, the top and bottom mounting holes are 5/8” where as the brackets from baja was either a 3/8” or 1/2” hole . So you will need to reem out the mounting brackets to install 5/8” bolts. You’ll need to also remove the factory box mount bolt and the capture nut to be able to install the bracket in the box. Sorry about the picture lay out.

I am interested in the kings you removed, assuming they are stock mounting location shocks, 3.5 rear bypass. I will rebuild. Thanks again Mike Martin Seaside Superbikes 831 760 2701

ya their website is weak for raptor products, the rack is similar to their chev set up pics, call JT at baja kits for info. they might stock the rack, king shocks are several months wait.
i’m happy with the rack and kings, the baja kits rack is similar to other racks on the market, simple, strong, no issues

I have the SVC bypass rack. They know Raptors and are Baja tested.

Nice clean set up. What kind of numbers are you cycling now?
fwiw I’ve been through baja twice, svc is great just a different design, I have 16” king 3.5” s which should be pulling 18” travel, I rearched deaver 4s with a couple extra leaves so I have close to 8” compression travel and around 10” rebound, barely touch the bumps
