Race radio antenna wire from 3rd brake light

How many of you guys have successfully fished the antenna wire from a race radio to the 3rd brake light area for a mount like this?

What was that process like? Removed the headliner completely or just stuff it along the edges of trim and run along the floor?

When I installed my GJ mount, I ran the antenna cable from the third brake light, tuck it in to the edge of the headliner and down the passenger side rear trim. You do not need to lower the headliner to do this.

Mt truck has one, it was already installed when I bought it... Wish I was more help.
