Question about Blow off valve Release

I have a Turbosmart BOV attached to a CVF Intercooler. I am just wondering about when you should hear the BOV. I don't have it for the sound, but also don't want it to not release when it should.I only hear it on full throttle and boosting max. I may have it not so loud, but do you think I should be hearing at lower boost? I don't hear it at all boosting 6-10 PSI and releasing throttle/gearchange. I used to have a car boosting and was loud and proud at 6.5PSI.

Check the adjustment on the BOV, you can increase and decrease the release of pressure to be more or less aggressive. This will impact the sound as well. I hear mine slightly at lower pressure and very loud when WOT and let off.
