Hey guys i think i already know the answer to this but i figured I’d ask on the chance some one tried it already. I want to powder coat the top hat on the front springs. It’s the pet that sits on the spring and has the 3 studs sticking up. There’s a rubber bushing or something in the center that’s permanently attached so I’m wondering if it’ll melt or get compromised if i bake it for 20 min at 400 deg. Anyone try this? Think it’ll melt?

I already bought these used so i could do a straight swap so i don’t want to buy another one. I will probably just blast them and cerakote them with high temp so it’s an air cure. Powder coat is just a little more durable

Just clean them and paint, not worth powder coating, chancing messing up the bonded rubber center.
