I paid a lot of money to paint match my fender flares on my last flame blue Raptor and loved it. So I wanted to see how it would look on silver.

I decided to order a couple cans of the True Metallic™ Plasti Dip® Spray in Aluminum to see how close the color would match. I think it turned out awesome and the colors are very close. The Plasti Dip has a little bit more of a flat finish but I think it looks really good that way. Still gives it some contrast. I am going to order a few more cans to finish the back flares and run it like this for awhile.

Also... I highly recommend Dip Coat™ Protective Spray if you are going to plasti dip anything on your truck.

- Protects Dipped Surfaces from surface scratches and marring

- Creates a smoother, slicker, less rubbery feel of dipped surfaces

- Enhances colors and pearl finishes of dipped surfaces

- Daily UV protection - Protects dip from staining

- Makes dipped surfaces easier to wash

Good job, I haven't had my fenders wrapped yet so I'm over here with a black truck and white fenders and valence. I might do this until the wrap can be done

Excellent job! Now , how much for the old f100?

This one? I'd only consider trades for a second raptor...
