So, problem is the passenger side low beam HID headlight is stuck on all the time..... doesnt matter what position the switch is on in the cab, nor if the key is in the ignition, it will stay on unless I pull the fuse, or disconnect the battery.
I took the truck in for a transmission flush and oil change at the ford dealership, pretty sure it was fine after that, I then sprayed it down in a car wash bay. later went out to go the store notice the passenger low beam was on....
Now, full disclosure, I replaced the headlights and tail lights on the truck about 2 months ago.... everything has been fine up until the other day when this happened. I plugged in the driver side headlight into the passenger side harness and it stayed on, so that rules out the bulb, ballasts, and wiring from the housing. After leaving the truck with the fuse out, and battery disconnected for 24 hours, I put it all back, and the headlight was off...... I went for a drive and about 20 min later, the headlight was stuck on again.
Has anyone got any ideas/thoughts/things to try?
