Are you sure it's the cables?
I just had to fix my son-in-law's 2016 Dodge Ram e-brake cable.
It was a simple fix, I used a product like bicycle chain lube and soak every part of the cable before going into the cable sleeves, and in the cab by the e-brake pedal.
Then we worked it a bunch of times, luckily, we didn't need to take the rear rotors off to get at that end of the cable.

But I never had to do this on my Truck, and NYC throws salt and brine on our roads.
But I wash my truck underneath 98% of the time when I get home after driving in that S_ _ T.
