Help! Facing some tranny issues whereas the truck will shift erraticaly across all 6 gears and then periodically hit 1st gear at speed causing the tires to chirp and vehicle to get sketchy. (Recall symptoms)

So I did the following...
1) Had the reprogram performed by Ford (Did not fix issues)
2) I changed out the Lead Frame, fluid, filter, etc. (Did not fix issues)

Not sure what to do at this point, so needing some guidance on next steps before I drop $4400 on a new tranny build.

Totally a possibility. The harness is missing the flip down lever to lock it into this sleeve. I wonder if it not getting a good connection?

Harness latches are critical to circuit integrity, and low voltage/loss of voltage to the shift solenoids will cause a variety of issues. Get that repaired before going any further. Motorcraft sells a replacement pigtail, part number is WPT-1390 per the Workshop Manual.

Well end result is new tranny something mechanical is broke. Was able to have Ford match tranny shop and extend coverage for 3 years unlimited mileage. Not ideal but I suppose I know what I have now. Thanks for all your help.

If anyone needs a leadframe the one I took out is good and incan ship it to you.
