Just wanted some opinions on two different style cf tailgate appliqués. Not sure if I should keep it looking Oem or like the clean look of the other.

The Shelby Raptor is the one I’m looking to switch over. It already has the appliqué. I changed over all plastic parts that are painted in magnetic grey to cf. last piece is the appliqué and just not sure if I want to keep oem look or clean it up with the “debadged” cf appliqué

Looks ok on darker trucks, but on lighter trucks its cleaner without it. I think its kind of cheesy overall. Aftermarket versions, regardless of material serve no purpose.

I replaced the OEM Ford badge with this one as well

IMO, the OEM applique looks better.

I agree. I do not like it on trucks where it does not blend in well due, but on your truck, I would leave it just the way it is. Looks good.

The factory appliques looks good on the Magnetic trucks because it blends right in to the tailgate. I was not going to order it, but since I bought mine off the lot, it already had it. I think it looks better than the 2018s that have the F150 stamp on the bottom.

The Shelby Raptor tailgate looks like an add-on sticker underneath the applique, so it should be easy to apply to any Raptor.

I ended up keeping my order with icon composites for the blank cf appliqué I’ll post pictures when it is installed. I think it’s a little to busy with the big ford lettering, badges, and Shelby stickers. Should look nice and clean with the blank cf appliqué and Shelby sticker below. I’ll keep the stock appliqué so if I ever sell the truck I can always have it be an option to return it to stock Shelby Baja if buyer would like it that way
