Offset question... Help Please

First off, does anyone have experience with 4Play wheels?? Looking at the 4P50's for my 2011 SCREW. 20x10's with a set of 35x12.50 20R BFG A/T's. The offset is -18, which I think will make the wheel stick out around 5 1/4" from where the wheel sits against the hub. With the 35x12.50 BFG's, will that stick out much past the fender? My goal is for the tire to stick out too much. Below is a pic of the wheel. Appreciate any help. Thanks

You should ask Justin at Pacific Wheel. But a 10 wide wheel with -18 is going to stick way out past the fenders. Not a usual Raptor fitment, but it is your truck. Good luck with the wheels.

I have a +8 wheel with a 9" wide rim and it sticks out plenty far.

Use a online wheel comparision tool if you are having trouble figuring it out.

So, I found an online calculator that showed me the difference between the stock wheel and the one I want... Looks like I am going to have to go with something else, that wheel showed that it would stick out another 71mm from the stock. That sucks, I liked the look of a lot of those wheels that 4play has.

Your goal is to keep it as close to stock as possible. The more offset you have, the more likely it is to smash your tires into your fenders/flares at full suspension compression.

Stock wheels are +34 offset, 8.5" wide.

So if you bolted on a 10" wheel with the same +34 offset, the inner wheel lip would be 3/4" closer the a-arm, half of the additional 1.5" barrel width.

You normally can't push the barrel of the wheel inwards any further without clearance issues with the suspension, so you have to reduce the offset by 19mm (3/4") to keep the inner wheel lip at the same location.

You can easily figure each width one once you know how it's done.
An 11" wheel with a +2 offset would match the stock offset.
A 10" wheel with a +15 offset would match the stock offset.
A 9" wheel with a +28 offset would match the stock offset.

The wheel you listed is a 10" with a -18 offset. Since a "stock" 10-in offset would be +15, it would stick out 33 mm (1.3") further than is strictly necessary for clearance.

I ran a 20x10 zero offset on my Gen 2 for a few months. Stick out plenty unless you plan on running 13" wire wheels for da club.
