OBD2 Port cap has wires coming out??

Yeah just make sure all traces are removed and returned to factory. Just unplugging the unit could lead to issues if it’s spliced in.

If it is spliced in, be very careful. The Rap - and other vehicles are using very small gauge wiring in the harnesses. Gone are the days of splicing into 14 gauge multi-strand or even 16 gauge. The individual strands in the factory wiring is not forgiving of poorly skilled tapping or splicing.
