Are white chase lights legal?

Well it's a chase light so you'll be off-road. White is not recommended/preferred as white is usually an indication something is coming AT you (headlights, reverse lights). Amber is the preferred color choice for chase lights.

I was looking for yes or no. I'll take that as a yes. Thank you.

The yes or no answer would be "no" then. As it's a chase light, and isn't supposed to be used on public roads. So on public roads it's illegal to have a chase light activated on public roads.

Off-road is a different story, since you are now off-road accessory light isn't illegal. But depending on what event you are at most of them are going to want an amber chase light NOT a white chase light. So it's all event specific (that's why almost everybody goes with amber for a chase light)

The answer is yes. Didn't need a novel.

Sorry I was trying to be helpful. What was I thinking... and no, white chase lights are NOT legal. You can't operate chase lights on a public road... that's why I was explaining chase lights to you.

The answer isn’t a simple yes or no answer either.
Yes they are legal off road
No they are not legal on road.

Sometimes people need to explain the answer to give a correct one
