depends on if you want it to function. if you are putting in manual adjusting seats, just use tape on the dash to cover the lights. all done.
the bcm controls the data. i remember reading it was lin data (i think, whatever the hell that means) so you would have to gain access to the data somehow. i know its been done, just dont know who has done it. not impossible, just expensive.
