GEN 2 Noisy Moonroof Cover

I hardly even open my moonroof, the cover is always closed. But when I opened it the other day, it made a loud screen l screeching noise. Is it supposed to be lubed up a bit? If so, where?

I’ve heard you can pop the rear up first, then open and it’s less dramatic. you need to open it somewhat regularly or it will stick and when you try to open it the track will bust.
