The Cibola National Forest, with your collaboration, is revising the 1985 Forest Plan. This plan sets the direction for the way that the FS will manage things for the next 15-20 years. More info Here

A part of this process, the Cibola National Forest is performing an inventory of potential areas for wilderness areas. More about that process can be found here.

I attended the Albuquerque meeting about this last night and the amount of forest land that the agency has identified as potentially suitable lands with wilderness characteristics for consideration for inclusion in the National Wilderness Preservation System is astounding! (HUGE LAND GRAB!)

I know that people are not big on going to meetings, but the FS has come up with an online tool to be a part of this process online, anytime you wish. Here is the link for that. This tool will be available till mid November.

Businesswoman Shari Arison once said: "The good inside of all of us is wrapped in a layer of apathy, and we forget how much potential we have within us, in each and every one of us, to change the world for the better for ourselves and our children, and thus to bring about oneness." The greens often seem like a impossible force to recon with, but if apathy could be overcome, we can have a positive impact!
