i got to say Adams's sealers, waxes, and glaze really do last. i havent waxed/sealed my truck since spring. i used

Adam's Liquid Paint Sealant | Sealants And Waxes | Paint Sealant

last spring. so i went to wash my truck yesterday and the water beaded like crazy still. so i stripped the old wax/sealer and laid down some new sealer with the flex and i just love the results. i didnt have time to glaze or wax over it but just the Adam's liquid sealant left a great shine and gave the truck tons of reflection. i really get more and more impressed the more i use it.

Nick, what do you use to strip off the old wax?

Holy crap. I was reading the first page of this thread. That's a whole lotta steps to detail. How long did that take you? I probably should try this at least once just to see how amazing it looks.

Dawn dish soap and if that don't do it a wipe down with isopropanol

When I go full on detail in the spring it takes me a few hours. Using the flex cuts the time down drastically but still takes a while. remember u don't have to do all these steps every time. The sealer really only needs to be done 2-3 times a year. Wax and glaze as necessary. Plus these products are so easy to work with, the waxes all buff out nice and easy so it's a fairly quick process

I would recommend against dawn, I've found it to be hard on the plastics/rubber on cars. I would honestly mix in a little bit of simple green or apc in wit the soap to help cut through the old wax. Alcohol obviously works good too.
