Just an update:

We received our standard duty A-Pillar Mounts as well as the OEM fog housing mounts for the S2’s, SRM’s and DD SSC2’s yesterday. We are packaging those all up hopefully today and will get those out. The only delay in our estimate is the HD A-pillar which I’m told will be ready the end of this week now, or beginning of next. The triple mounts should hopefully also be ready at the same time. I guess the powder coaters had been backed up.
So sorry for the delay in the HD mounts estimate. Based on previous turn around, that’s where we came up with that estimate, but we did have a lot more in the works for them at one time, than normal.

On the lower grill 10" lightbar kit have you noticed any decrease in performance with blocking some airflow to the intercooler? Thinking of the smaller Baja S8 for this reason over say an OnX6 which is much larger.

Are you referring to the GEN 3 version?
Either way, no. There shouldn’t be any decrease in performance as there is ample room for airflow.
As far as the ONY6, while you may have seen some people install them, or talk about installing them on the GEN3. They simply do not fit correctly. The S8 fits perfectly.
Like anything, you can “make it fit” if you get out the tools and start cutting, drilling, etc.
The issue with the ONY6 is, it is about 5” deep with the fins on the back and the opening between the backside of the grille to the edge of the active shutters behind the grille is about 4-1/2 inches.
So people who have insisted on installing them have thinned out and cut the grille down. While this may seem harmless, when you thin that plastic out that much it becomes very week and flimsy. Since there are no stabilizing mounting points in the center there, it will vibrate and rub the paint on the bumper.
So long and short, the S8 is an easy and clean install. The ONY6 requires a major modification that we don’t recommend.
That being said, we may look at a replacement grille or insert in the future with a cut out for the ONY6 so it can come through the grille flush with the front.
