Are there rules for not buying in USA and driving it and registering it in Canada? OOOORRR are they going to charge youthat 14-15% upon registration in Canada?

I’ve never done it but apparently you pay the tax upon registration.

I also heard that warranty would have to be done in the US, customer pays out of pocket and then gets reimbursed. Not sure if that’s with all manufacturers.

My dealer even told me that I cannot buy a Raptor in Canada and then flip it to a buyer in the US. You must keep it for 6 months.

Free trade, EH?

Was reading about property in Tennessee last week. Cheap houses and property taxes.

Bro, midwest is where it is at sir!! North East America sucks for everything lol.

Taxes
Living
Gun Laws
Schools

Except perhaps, that small bubble of connecticut, new hamp, maine...but Viriginia to NY and then Boston, all sucks for TAXES and living cost and rights to protect yourself.

**** Finally, someone else local!!! Welcome to the club, when you want to get it dirty send me a message! Your going to love how much more fun driving in the Six becomes when your vehicle dwarfes most others on the road.

I'll keep ya in mind when I come to Toronto to visit my mom. :D hah

Damn Canada..

but that free heallthcare tho lol :) and fresher air, and legalized ITEMS and nicer people and nicer roads and..oh...
Haha yeah all correct except nicer people. Don't confuse polite with nice. Toronto drivers suck balls, way too aggressive and no inkling that they are on the verge of crashing massively. In fact, one of the reasons I bought my Raptor - now at least some of them think twice about the 6ft of tailgate that is coming through their windshield if they tailgate me at high speed.

Anyway, we should organize a Raptor & Coffee at Tims. :)

Precisely. To register a car in Canada that's brought up from the states we need to pay that 13% as well anyway. Plus, generally cars that come up from the states have a lower resale value in Canada. With a weak-ish CDN it's just not worth the effort

People suck @$$ at driving almost everywhere. They must train the Toronto drivers in Chicago, flipping idiots around here.
