where lol ? prices are not coming down that i see ( autotrader, cars.com, ebay) just searched all of mecums database of previous sales ( in the last week to 2) and the lowest was 148k (black seems to be the least desirable color. asked on recent sales)and that truck is on a dealer lot for 169k ? maybe someone misunderstood what a starting bid was (135k). also hate to say but most buyers are paying cash (high line buyers) so rates are not a problem
LOL...whatever makes you feel better.

The Black R in fact did sell for 135k the seller only got 135k less his entry fee and sales fee so in his pocket sold his new R for 120,500.00 plus what ever costs involved to get it there. Those are the facts.
Sold price was 135k so the 148,500.00 price is what buyer paid with fees. Those are facts I was there.

Selling your new R for 120,500.00 had to hurt.
All the amounts listed are with a 10% buyers premium. Auction makes 30k on a 150k sale in one minutes time.

And here you are the one flat out wrong. Those all include the Buyers fee of 10%
I have a sales receipt to prove what I am saying. I also have video from multiple angles to show the same.

So yes sales are now happening for MSRP plus tax to seller and 135k to buyer plus fee for a brand new R

I will post up a pic of my sale to prove the point so others are not given misinformation which is typical.
I was there 6 hours each day Monday thru Friday. then 11 1/2 hours on Saturday. Did talk to the Raptor R owners.
I live 25 min from the auction site and ran a vehicle thru the auction on Saturday so this is FIRST HAND info not only watched but directly involved in auction.
I was also there for many hours on Sunday which was setup day and a day for vehicles to arrive.

Just out of morbid curiosity, was the R never titled? Does used vs. new even matter on an R. Guessing it probably doesn't matter.

I knew the facts and I stated them. You didn't like it, but it is the truth. It's okay market is cooling--it's not just R trust me.

I've never watched a Mecum auction with so many 'And the bid goes on'...that is a tell on the market in general. Period. Just like if you watched Pebble last year and it was insane...in a crazy way.
