If you have had the chance to get your Raptor in the dirt, you have probably noticed how much wear and tear the factory rear plastic shock guards gets. It’s no joke, we have seen the factory shock guards go through some serious abuse on our off road expeditions. Once the rocks start projecting back toward the rear shock, the shock guard really does its job and protects the shock, to a point. The unfortunate thing is that the factory ABS plastic guard takes a harsh beating and sooner then later, the shock guard starts to break down or just disintegrate.* The cost of replacing just ONE of these rear shock guards is an outrageous $130.00, and NO the dealer is not going to warranty the shock guard. After this happens, the shock shaft is susceptible to the same harsh beating, now creating pits on the shaft that in turn will destroy the seal causing the shock to first leak, then fail altogether.* So if you are like us and plan to get your Raptors claws a little dirty but don’t want to destroy your factory FOX shock and shock guard, then run down to your dealer only to fork out more cash on replacement ABS shock guards, then check out this great new product from Outlaw Raptor.*

Ford Raptor Lower shock and Shock Guard Protector. The Shock Guard Protector is made of 1/4” thick DOM steel and is then CAD plated so once the Shock Guard Protector starts taking abuse no chips or gouges will cause rusting. The Shock Guard Protector is CAD designed and CNC laser cut for precise fitment. The Shock Protector is CNC laser cut a full 360 degrees so it maintains no weak points, thus keeping the integrity of the part for added strength. The laser cut edges contours all necessary clearances for the factory shocks movement while cycling through all of the suspension travel. The Shock Guard Protector installs over your factory ABS shock guard using existing holes. We went with the outrageous 1/4” thick DOM steel to aid in the protection factor for those who always manage to find those rocks when crawling up the impossible rock passes. The protectors are sold as pairs.

To order call the shop or the Lower Shock Guard will be up on line tomorrow.

You are addressing a real problem with a logical solution, but the price is outrages!

Thanks, we are always trying to make the Raptor a more efficient truck. As for the price of the part $109.99 for a pair is fair if you consider the build cost.

1. 1/4" x 3" ID steel. $$$
2. Laser cutting. $$$
3. CAD plating. $$$

Then way out the cost of a pair of new guards $130.00 each. This is a perfect product for your truck that will save you money in the long run. So if you see the rear shock Oem guard getting beat up it's time to protect it before you spend more $$$$ at the dealer.

The plating will get sandblasted off during your first desert run; use stainless and you don’t have to plate them.
At 109 you will sell some; at 49.95 you will sell a bunch.
