Repainting the front skidplate. What's the deal with those torx screws on the access cover? Those are the elusive t27 plus, correct? The maniac at jiffy lube lost one and stripped the other 3. I guess he tried to force a t30 into it.

I like the color. In 12 years the access cover has never been off of mine, it's always better to remove the whole skid plate, less mess and cleaning the whole area is done at the same time.

I found the original window sticker, with a listed price at $47,560. The list of options seems accurate, except there's no "4.2 LCD screen", however.. I wonder if there was an ADM back in the 2nd year of production for Ford dealers in NV?

Costco had the best price ($1720 delivered) for the Bendpak/QuickJack 7000lb lift. With the lift extenders it's almost 26" from the concrete to the frame. Pretty simple to assemble, runs on 120v, and 1 man can move it. The 4 other adjustable jacks are still used, but now it's not a nightmare to get them under the truck.
