If you are up for a drive to daytona i can knock out all that stuff as long you supply materials. $400 for an oil change is crazy. at the end of the day thats likely all they would have done anyway. I wouldnt ever touch a tranny unless...nope never... hahaha

I went ahead and just got the oil change.
funny thing is, even with all those other charges they were wanting to bill me for, they didnt even have the common courtesy to offer a reach-around. that might have made a big difference. I have a buddy who's a big time gearhead. I've told him that I volunteered him to be my mechanic on this going forward. He didn't have time to refuse before I agreed for him.
