There you go. I would admit it would be nice if AMP had a pass through port but like I said it doesn't affect me and I thought about it long and hard. I am MUCH happier nut cutting up my wiring to get it working. Almost seemed like cheating :)

I ended up getting 8 lights (orders 4, but 8 showed up). I mounted them on the body edge by drilling a hole for the wire, then for the bolts. Then used the same heat shrink sodder connectors mentioned earlier. I just doubled them up so two were on the front wire and two on the rear. Came out pretty clean. They are much brighter than the orig (although I went with blue to match my rock lights and puddle lights)

Here are the lights I got. Haven’t had them long, so can’t speak to their durability, but they are cheap enough to replace every once and a while if need be
