I got a 2014 Roush. It has 170k. I have been searching here for almost a week. Most of my questions get answered that way and a friend has one also and knows Quite a bit. I don't really know much about the trucks history Except OG owner made Ford buy it back around 4K ( car fax said so ) something was Wong with the transmission. (Dealer said) That was 166k ago so they must have fixed it. LOL!!! Its life will be pretty easy going forward. It will be the wife's daly driver 12 miles to work ( will never see boost) It will hull the boat to the lake Every weekend. Witch is about a mile to the lake. Usually take a long hull boat trip once or twice a year max 5 hour drive.

I am no stranger to working on my own stuff. I already had the front wheels off. The dealer put new pads and rotors on and had the passengers pads reversed inside pad on the outside. They were clearly marked inside, and outside.

Things I am interested in doing Or have to fix from previous owners,
Find a good place to mount the winch controller box it currently just laying on the bumper skid plate.
larger tranny pan and dipstick.
I am told to get rid of the reflectors on the mirrors.LOL

This is the MagHytec TRANS pan I would recommend. This new design will hold 4 quarts more fluid than stock pan. Overall Height 4 1/4″ - 9 quarts total capacity

This is the Full Race 20 row trans cooler that will max out the space you have to maximize the trans cooler in the stock mounting placement. I would recommend doing both at the same time.

Yes @Gumby, this will replace your stock trans cooler; and if you want to increase the size of your SC cooler you can also upgrade to the AFCO cooler with (2) 10 Spawl fans that will act as puller fans for the SC cooler and pusher fans for the Trans cooler because the fans will be in between the coolers. It’s better than the whipple or roush cooler set up.

I did this set up on a 2014 Raptor that had a blower and was pushing 700HP. Worked great and I never overheated.

I also upgraded and installed the Lee Power Steering Kit while I had everything open. The kit comes with a 8” reservoir, however you have space to accommodate a 10” reservoir, you just have to email them directly when purchasing and they will charge you around $40 extra to make the custom 10” reservoir which you’ll see in my photos above.

You can also replace the stock radiator while you’re at it if you want to go all out with maximizing your cooling system which is good to do if you’re running a supercharger.

Full Race makes a “drop in” one and will give you a discount if you order the radiator and trans cooler together. 42mm 2-row.

Or if you really want to step it up and do what I did, you can go with a CBR which is a 55mm core, compared to stock 32mm core, with 16 fins per square inch. This is what I did however you will have to cut the radiator fan shrouds in order to make it fit.
