New Gen 1 owner!

Well today was the day I became a man..haha, but no seriously, It was a long day driving to PA from MD to trade in my 2019 Ram 1500 for a 2014 raptor special edition with 49,500 miles in excellent shape. It got brand new tires put on it before I arrived and I was not thrilled that they put the white lettering faceing out but ai wasnt going to make a big deal out of it. I was a long time ford guy, got the Ram, and decided to finally pull the trigger on my dream truck and return to the ford family. Looking forward to learning a lot on here.

WELCOME....great coming of age gift you got yourself...hope you enjoy it as much as I'm enjoying mine....Also have the 2014 and it had 50K on it when I bought it little over year ago....AND new tires too..LOL...I've got 60K on it now....been a great truck....No problems till last month,had a mouse chew thru the Injection wire....had it towed to my Mechanic for repair....so not the Raptors fault...but since it was there I had him put my new Differential Cover on and he found the Pinion Gear was going bad...GEE..no wonder its been getting a little loud back there... ...so had the Diff. rebuilt.....so might want to keep eye on that if the "road" noise seems to get loud....and not a bad idea to put a better cover on it and fresh gear oil...most guys forget about that....
Best truck I ever owned..even with that $1200 repair...

It it was an option I would have it!, looks like now I have no choice but to be a volunteer firefighter with these seats.

I prefer the tires the way they are personally....good choice on a Gen1! They don't get much better than this.
