14s are great trucks. There's shouldn't be any clunking at all. My 10 6.2 Scab is solid with 100k and just recently bought new front shocks. I'd get it inspected at a reputable shop and buy new shocks all around to start (unless it's been replaced aleeady).
Give Shaffer's Offroad in Alameda a call if you decide you want/need to take it to a shop. Mike has more experience with raptors than most, he has multiple rock crawling and baja championships under his belt, and he's a stand up guy. That's where I take my Gen 1.
