I’ve been searching for a Raptor for a little while and looked at a few. I test drove a 2014 Hennessy Velociraptor this morning. It was a cool truck but definitely lacked the tech that I’ve become accustomed to.

I found another Raptor about an hour away in Hickory, NC which was a 2018 with the 802A package. I’m not entirely sure what that offers but it was on the window sticker and I’ve seen it mentioned here. Only complaint is that the tires are some off-brand I’ve never heard of. The driver front looked to have some cupping. Overall that’s my only complaint. Truck drove great and we worked out a deal.

Going to miss my Jeep, but happy to be in a more comfortable truck.

I’m from Nc as well, was the Hennessy raptor ruby red? I saw it on marketplace, I was talking with the guy who sold it to the dealer that has it now. he priced it to me at 38,500, but I could not get over the red and black interior. I think the dealer is asking around 47k?
im looking at another roush 2014, but at the current prices you can buy a gen 2 with some miles and a lot newer technology. i need to drive both, to see what I want for sure.
