Getting ready to swap out my Baja Designs Unlimited kit with new Diode Designs SS3 Pros.

For my BD setup I have Sqad pro driving combo's with yellow lens on the inside, Sqad racer spots in the middle, and S2 pro's on the outside that I run 24/7

    Will be replacing with:

DD SS3 pro yellow SAE fog
DD SS3 pro white SAE fog
    DD SS3 white driving

Which light in which position in pockets?

What makes the most sense? The inside spot in the pockets is the most obstructed (obstructed on the inside edge), the center spot is the most unobstructed, the outside spot is obstructed a little on the outside edge.

The SS3 pro white SAE fogs will be on 24/7

Option 1 (The is the setup I am currently leaning towards:

Put the white driving lights on the inside
Put the yellow SAE fogs in the center
Put the white SAE fogs on the outside

The logic here is that if I need to run the yellow SAE's then it's snowing or foggy or heavy raining and hard to see so I want as much coverage as I can get.

The white SAE fogs on the outside which I'll be running 24/7 will only suffer a little bit of obstruction to the sides up close but will cover from the edge of the road to the center of the road good.

The white driving lights on the inside will be a obstructed some on the inside up close but that will be covered by the white SAE fogs on the outside.

    Option 2:

Put the yellow SAE fogs on the inside.
Put the white driving lights in the center
Put the white SAE fogs on the outside

This puts the least used light, the white driving lights in the best (most unobstructed) position. That said, if you are running the white driving lights you want to light up everything.

    Option 3:

Put the yellow SAE fogs on the inside
Put the white SAE fogs in the center
Put the white driving lights on the outside

This puts the most heavily used light, the white SAE fogs I will be running 24/7 in the least obstructed position.

Why don't you upgrade your brackets to our CrystaLux Triple Fog Light Brackets... then you'll have 0 obstructions and the locations of the lights won't matter at all:

    http://www.4x4truckleds.com/crystalux-triple-fog-light-brackets-for-2017-ford-raptors/

If you have not purchased the fogs yet, we offer a complete setup actually for ya: http://www.4x4truckleds.com/2017-ford-raptor-triple-fog-light-kit-w-diode-dynamics-stage-series-3/

Or you can just grab the Diode Dynamics lights by themselves as well: http://www.4x4truckleds.com/led-auxiliary-lights/diode-dynamics/stage-series/

You'll need a new harness if you go from Baja to Diode as they are a different connector (which we include in our kits OR here if you just need the harness: http://www.4x4truckleds.com/crystal...nectors-rigid-industries-kc-hilites-vision-x/)

As I said it doesn't matter much the order with our brackets but if you are keeping your current brackets i'd say do:

Put the white driving lights on the inside
Put the yellow SAE fogs in the center
Put the white SAE fogs on the outside

Have you installed yet? How do DD compare to your previous BD lights?

Here's some pics of a customer's truck we just did. This is our Offroad Alliance Optimized brackets, our custom Raptor specific plug and play harness and three pairs of the Diode Dyanics SS3 LED's. The new TIR optics on the Diode Dynamics lights are pretty impressive. And they SS3's are designed and manufactured in the US.

Wow, it's like you can see the front end of that truck from space. How does the brightness compare to the BD's? Are the BD's Made in USA also?

Baja Designs are made in the USA as are the Diode Dynamics I believe. Be mindful looking at comparison photos. Diode is posting photos of their PRO SAE and comparing them to Baja's SAE (which are based on the Baja SPORT models).

So it's not an apples to apples.

Baja and Diode have completely different patterns of light. Here are what the Diode SAEs look like compared to Baja to give you an idea on the output patterns:

Negative. Had a few things come up and then that delayed me a couple weeks and by then the virus thing was getting started and I didn't want to mess with installing them in the middle of it. They are still in the box and probably will be until after this blows over.
