New 2022 Order

What’s up Raptor Familia!

Finally put an order with a refundable deposit at my local dealer.

I wanted to reach out as clarification on the allocation/ build order process.

I went in and they placed the order for me. Got the email directly from Ford saying the order had been placed.

Is dealer allocation a thing? Some dealers were telling me “We don’t have allocations. We can’t order you one”.

Can any dealer just order a truck? This dealer I ordered from was saying to order, they much have customer information to initiate the order.

Super confused by this whole thing. But. I did place it. So I’m hopeful and excited.

I got a 37 performance package. Oxford white. Start stop delete.

Any insight for a first timer would be greatly appreciated.

Dealers do have allocations and you could be waiting for a while. Had to wait 3 months for wife's 2022 4Runner

I ordered the day the 2022 books opened and got scheduled 2ish weeks ago for the end of feb for my 37” pp. best of luck!

What are the differences between the 2021 and 2022? Not details just options. Like the 2021 801A I don't see the wireless charger listed. Does it come with this or not?
