I found a Gen 1 in the color and body I want and the right amount of options, but it’s located in the Midwest and looks to have some minor surface rust on the frame. Can I get some feedback on your guys opinion on the rust and if it’s easily removed/Re-painted. The Mirrors also look to be towing mirrors but the rest of the vehicle is stock.

thanks in advance.
Matt

Shoot some photos down between the cab and bed....also up inside the wheel wells....pull down the spare tire and photograph that spot.....

Absolutely normal. Don't worry about it, as you'll get that anyway as the truck picks up pitting from the highway pebbles. The exhaust is a little above normal but you can always put a stainless cat-back later.

For a Mid-West truck, I think that looks pretty clean..lol
Body Mounts, Exhaust, Rockers and any hidden nook and cranny is where the damage will happen first.
I would not be afraid of it, but would want to see it in person before paying.
A deep thorough cleaning and then some touch-up and I think you will be good.
