Need help with remote start

I had an issue with my '14 not remote starting on the regular and the truck would honk back (don't remember how many honks). Swapping the battery in the remote fixed the problem.

Literally just checked hood switch, had corrosion on pin, remote start fixed. Thanks guys!

Yours had a block heater option? Thise are usually reserved for diesels down here

All Canadian Raptors have block heaters installed at the factory, the plug kit for it came in the pocket of the passenger door, was my first mod, plugging that in.

Maybe check the doors wiring harness for broken wires

Maybe $5-10 bucks a month. I only plug it in if its outside and at night. Usually in January around here is the ccoldest month when it's -20c for a week straight.

Gees maybe i should get one. I have no garage and we get double digit negs and January averages singles. Now you see why i run it while i get ready for work lol
