Good morning. I need some advice. I’m looking at an F250 “Tuscany” as a friend for my Raptor. Need enhanced towing. What I worry about is the “Tuscany” side of things and Fords warranty. Tuscany is owned by Fox so that seems legit, I just worry that Ford and Tuscany/Fox will argue about a warranty issue with me stuck in the middle. The dealer that has this is over 4 hrs from my house so not easy to get to. I’ve played with my Raptor but mostly cosmetic to avoid the “Not covering” it conversation from Ford. I also don’t want to put my local dealer in the middle of the conversation.

Minus the price, what do the experts say?

I understand where you're coming from with the warranty. Some ford dealerships will customize any truck you buy and keep the warranty including lifts. Buy a lariat pick your own lift wheels and tires and you have the truck you want. Not sure where youre from but Lebanon Ford in Ohio will do that and keep warranty intact

Thanks. I got the impression that “Tuscany” does the work and the dealerships just order. I do have a dealer that does that kind of work, I think, because it is a 2019, and has been sitting there for 2 years, that I can cut a decent deal.

Not gonna lie. I think I want my next truck to be a F250 tremor. With that said, I'm not a fan of the fake Shelby look.

Run, don’t walk from that truck. Tuscany conversions are complete garbage. Their paint, fabric, and body panel modifications are not even in the realm of meeting OEM durability standards.

We had major issues with their lifted F-250s setting ABS DTCs for steering angle not plausible. Tuscany tried to blame Ford and throw parts and modules, turned out they weren’t torquing their aftermarket drop pitman arms properly, causing a variance between the steering wheel angle and the actual steering linkage. Tuscany didn’t care, still didn’t want to pay for repairs.

These companies throw a bunch of aftermarket products on a truck and try to command a ridiculous markup because they stick their name on it. SCA Performance is another one that butchers up these trucks, they’re all hacks.

Wow. Thanks for the guidance. I was worried about because I was not going to be near the selling dealership, then I’d get in the middle of the warranty argument. Thank you for the guidance. I’d hate to do that to my local dealer, who’s pretty good.

Good god that thing is horrible! Dealer "customs" are never a good deal. Buy a standard truck and mod it to your liking. You will save big $$.
