Nav Option/Carplay

Likely dumb question. I have a GEN3 Raptor (21 LFG). While playing around with the Navigation screen, I selected using the Carplay navigation (although sort of a comic book display). Which if fine. However, when I look at the Ford Nav standard display, the only thing shown is the location triangle.. streets, rivers etc, are gone. So just a white screen with the location cursor.. that does move along with driving. Just thought I would ask to see if this is expected.

I don’t think so. Seems like your sync system can’t reach ford’s server to load map data.

yeah. not normal. i can switch seamlessly between Ford SYNCH and Carplay
