I think it’s safe to say we all have a story. Whether you’re blue collar, white collar, middle class, upper class, or something else, there is a story in all of us. Each persons story makes them unique.

Since October (ish) of 2002 I’ve been in a Dodge product. My first Dodge was a used 1999 Dakota I bought in October to replace my 1988 Ford Bronco I had bought in high school.

A few years after the Dakota I bought a 2004 HD Ram 2500 Hemi where my very unoriginal user name comes from. That trucked served me well until I replaced it with a 2012 Ram Power Wagon.

So all that leads me to March 27th when I took delivery of my 2020 Ford Raptor. After being in a Heavy Duty Truck since 2004 I decided I wanted something more sporty that had a nice ride quality. I’ve never truly needed a HD truck, and to be honest I really considered a Raptor when I bought the Power Wagon.

Below is what followed me home:

Equipment Group 802A
Twin Panel Moon Roof
Carbon Fiber Package
Tailgate Step
17” Forged Aluminum Wheels
Second Row Heated Seats
Toughbed Spray In Liner

At this point I’m not sure where the build will take me. I’ve got a few small things to eventually add to the truck, but for now I want to focus on enjoying the truck. From time to time I’ll throw in pictures of the truck and treat this as a journal and a mild build thread.

There’s no wrong way to mod a Raptor, really. You paid the money, you get to decide how to use it. So far, so good!

Builrite has some nifty bed panels

@goblues38 has a pretty good thread on upgrading the 2018+ audio

You’re lacking in the lighting department. :imo:
Lots of supporting vendors on here are more than happy to help you spend more money on lights :)

I’m sure I’m forgetting a bunch.

Thanks for the link on the bed panels, they look cool. I agree, I’m really lacking in the Exterior Illumination Department. That’s on the list for sure.

Like the wheel well panels and the swing out tool box with cover. Mine came with a CAMLOCK full tool box. Very nice unit but takes up bed space. Love the storage though so trade off works IMO. Have looked at the three light systems that fit into the bumper but wonder if they are designed to let airflow.

air flow? to what purpose? From what I've seen there are a few version that completely fill in the space, while others are just brackets with lights hanging off them. I have the latter, and I have noticed zero difference in performance or wind noise or anything like that.
