Picked up my 2023 37 package today. Price protection and paid MSRP. Wow this truck is amazing. This is my 4th Raptor and I'm glad that it doesn't have heated steering. The seats will melt your shorts.

Call Ford Marketing, they have the best, most up-to-date information, which is updated 3 times a week on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. I have resolved to calling on Friday mornings and forgetting about it otherwise.

Ford Marketing phone number is 1 (800) 334-4375. Hit #1 at the prompt and ask for the status on your build. Have your VIN # ready.

They can pinpoint the exact location, even throughout shipping.

They told me I’m on “chip hold” (code for anything missing) with a resolution date of 12/19. I’ve never had a resolution date before, so I’m optimistic that whatever it is they need is in.

And I’m just guessing as to the heated steering wheel. My window sticker doesn’t say “delete” but it was built 10/05, one of the last weeks for MY ‘22 and was around the same time of the dreaded “no heated steering wheel” announcement.

The status changed to “built” for a few days around 11/22 and I got a shipping date window, then it mysteriously went back to “in production” and has been there ever since. They may have picked up something in QC too that was backordered, who knows?

Good Luck!!
My truck was built 11/20. “Awaiting shipping”. I was supposed to get to the dealership by 12/20 now 12/26. They don’t even know where it is. They can’t seem to track anything in my case. Ford performance chat and that phone number have been no help sadly.

If you want to retrofit heated steering I have a couple of new 2022-2023 heated steering wheels available. You need a steering wheel, clock spring, and the pigtail to power the heating element. You can swap the HVAC controls or you can program the APIM with ForScan to have onscreen controls.
I’m not sure if this is allowed, but here’s a link to a long thread on how to install it.

Yeah we wouldn't want anyone's hands to get cold while they were driving to Starbucks.....

Somehow I survive for almost 40 years without heated steering wheel at any of my cars.... though it would have been nice sometimes with this one. Heaven knows some of you wouldn't have survived having to row your own gears with no heated steering wheel. LOL

I was going to type out a witty response but then noticed you were from Jersey. I see Neanderthal community is still going strong in those parts.
