Checking in on this, what is everyone’s availability on the weekend of the 22nd & 23rd. If not, we can do the weekend originally mentioned (June 15th & 16th).

St Joe has camping but you have to book a minimum of 2 nights, I.e Fri and Sat night, or Sat and Sun night. Would you guys be able to travel that Friday evening? If not we can look at camping elsewhere. If we want to camp there though we’ll have to be quick with reserving spots as a lot of them are already taken.

**edit** - my band is playing a show the evening of the 21st, so looks like I may not be able to camp the evening of the 21st anyway. So we may need another option if we decided to go with that weekend instead. Another option is that for my camping spot I just book a Saturday night & Sunday night, and not stay the Sunday night (if we did weekend of the 22nd & 23rd). The reservation is cheap so not the end of the world.

Either weekend works for me.

I typically work on Friday's but if we choose a weekend that involves Friday night camping, I can ask off work no problem.

Just depends on everyone else's availability.

We will just be getting back and I’m pretty sure I’ve got a flight that Friday of the 21st.

You guys have fun. I’ll make one eventually!

Let’s call it the weekend of the 15th & 16th then. Could book Friday and Saturday nights, you guys drive here for Fri evening, camp, Saturday hit Hillbillie Ranch, camp sat night, Sunday hit St Joe and then you guys head home.

Everyone able to do that?

i'll have to find somewhere else to camp, as the state parks require a minimum of 2 nights over weekends.

i'll contact Hillbillie and find out what their camping deal is.

Ok, got in contact with Hillbillie - $15 per night per tent - so i'm thinking we go ride at Hillbillie & camp there Saturday, head to St. Joe on Sunday. On the weekend of June 15th & 16th.

Sound good?

if you guys think that'd work, we should organize booking spaces to camp at Hillbillie and get it set in stone. I have a couple buddies that are likely to come plus anyone from here able to make it too.

Another cool thing, I have a few (maybe 5 or 6) two way radios, that we could use on the convoy and when we're on the trails. Should be fun being able to use them while we're riding.

I'm in. If the dates need to be switched, that's fine with me.

Will be coming from Northeast Arkansas if anyone close by wants to drive up there together.

Finally gives me an incentive to install a roof top tent on my Leitner rack and on-board air system. :happy107:

I was surprised of all the great trails in Arkansas when I did some off-roading there by Hot Springs. We spent two full days and had a blast. A few raptor runs have been done. I am near Springfield MO

That seems sweet! All I have around here is farm land and an infinite amount of dirt roads.

Let me know if you guys plan another one, I'm in for sure.

Would be cool if you made it to Hillbillie as well.
