Im Going to tell them it needs to be a flat bed wide enough for ford raptor. Mine is sitting in my driveway not big deal if I have to wait. I'm supercharged I was hitting it pretty hard when all hell broke loose. I was expecting the drive shaft to come flying out as it was happening.

Dont ya just love that Supercharger....YA-HOOOOOOO...well worth ripping something apart once and a while.>!!
Have a great Holiday..!

Yes the pinion is smaller than 4.10 but it also 9.75 ring gear. I'm considering going Currie F9 . Ford 9 inch 3 large bearings support the pinion. Full floating axles. I could install in my driveway. Free shipping no tax . Easy to remove 3rd member if this happened again . Anybody know the pros and cons of the swap? Cost is one con. $8000 delivered. Rebuild I'm expecting $1500 to 2000 parts and labor . If rebuild lasts me another 50,000 miles that's another 10 years of service. I only average 5000 miles a year

My wheels would fit over hub they are 3.7 inch . That would be a deal breaker if they didn't fit. I would have to take brake rotors to work and open the centers up. We have nice lathe. So that would be easy.

The 9.75 is a very good rear end, going to the 9" would be a downgrade in a bunch of ways. I don't know what currie rates their 9 at, but in stock form the 9.75 has an additional 1200lbs of carrying capacity, which translates to robustness when you jump your truck, hit hard bumps or just load up gear for a camping trip. Your beefing up a 9" to take what the stock rear end will.

I think its a better investment to get what you have worked over: Get a good, dedicated driveline shop to set your 9.75 up properly, have them check the rest of your driveline make sure your pinion angles are correct and there isn't other wear in the driveline that's causing problems. This is a failure that really shouldn't have happened. Invest in a trac bar to keep the pinion from moving around under load, this will take a bunch of stress off the bearings, truss if you feel the need. You are still going to be way ahead in cost.

I going to have them remove a leaf as well and get truck lower in back . Icon rxt is what's on it now. I figured out driveshaft rpm is 4400 at 100mph. It's dynotech that's been on as well for 60,000 miles. I do have custom track bar that I did not install back on because lower mount got deformed so Im going to put that back on and have them beef the lower mount. Also going to have the go through front ball joints and if any thing needs replaced I will have them put new actuators in . Getting it towed up early tomorrow morning. Thanks for the info BEN
