I'm the only who mentioned C&R early on. C&R makes quality stuff. They make rads for a bunch of NASCAR teams. I have one in my Mustang that was sold as a Steeda branded radiator. I do not see any thing for F150s though.

I have no info on CBR.

There is no correct answer on this. If someone thinks the RD rad is overpriced, then don't buy it. I own some Snap-On tools, I own some Festool tools as well. I also have stuff from Harbor Freight. I have a big US made tool box and I have a bigger Chinese made tool box. Everything is a trade off. Sometimes quality is worth it- sometimes it's not.

Again, unless someone actually compares materials, material thickness, along with internal construction details, there is NO way to say what is worth it and what's not.
So, CSR, CBR, and C&R (that doesn't make one for the Raptor). I see how this got confusing.

I appreciate the lively debate, it's actually been very helpful. I've had a bit of confusion on brands, so I'm going to list them out here and see if I have them right.

Ron Davis ~$1,500, Made in U.S. - http://www.rondavisradiators.com/radgallery.htm#Ford

CBR ~$1,200, Made in U.S. - https://www.rpgoffroad.com/product/cbr-oem-ford-raptor-replacement-radiator/

Full Race ~$700, Made in ??? - https://www.full-race.com/store/ecoboost/f150/2011-2014-f-150-ecoboost-freakoboost-radiator-upgrade-1

Mishimoto (ruled out) ~$650 Made in Japan?? - https://www.mishimoto.com/ford-raptor-performance-aluminum-radiator-2010-2014.html

CSF ~$450, Made in China - https://www.amazon.com/dp/B012ZZT0IA/?tag=fordraptorforum-20

Does that list correct? Did I miss any or get any information wrong?

Thanks!

Yes, except SDHQ has the CBR for $980.

CBR is made in the US and good quality. I met and talked to Clint (one of the owners) at a few desert races back in 2011-2012.

I Had 2 CBR's that leaked , first one was replaced under warranty 2nd is laying in my back yard with cracked tube.

I forgot about that happening to you. I had a friend who sold his truck and took off his CBR radiator. I compared it to my Ron Davis and eventually sold it for him—the welds and quality looked nice. Jason at TMX is the only other dude that I have known to have a CBR radiator. I haven’t asked him about it since probably 2018, but as far as I know, he hasn’t had any problems.

Ever think about doing a pusher fan at the front of the stack on a manual switch?

Even more outside the box- how about converting over to the front drive on the 6.2L Super Duty trucks with a belt driven fan?
