Picked up my 22 on the east coast and drove it to CA. Missed two slight pieces of damage but have picture proof of me getting handed the keys at the dealer with the damage present. Took it to my dealer in CA and of course they said ford corporate denied them fixing it under warranty. I guess I could call corporate and plead my case but wondering if you guys think the dent in the fender is even fixable? I have a feeling the dealer could make it worse. Pics included. You can only see it in certain light. A friend told me for like $400 a dent specialist can just pull it out quick and easy but I’d love to hear from my buddies on FRF before I take my next steps. The two small chip marks are obviously from the pry bar used to install the fender flares yet the dealer said it had to be a rock that made the chip on my drive back. Lol

If I'm seeing it correctly, just a single ding? I would give PDR a try. $400 seems insane for that ding. But who knows what they charge in CA. I paid $70 a ding here.

Just get touch up paint for the "chips"

They would never let you into Starbucks with sub par bodywork like that.

Call the dealer you bought it from to see if they will cover you bringing it to a body shop in your area. Could also call the Ford zone rep.

The dealer I got it from is no help and I’m about to blow them up anyway because they are giving me the ignore and no calls back about the price protection they owe me.

It’s not worth fighting with dealers. Just take it to a good detailer and they probably have a PDR guy or someone that can touch up those spots.

Would suck to get some generic crap on carfax that it had a front body repair if you take it to a dealer or body shop.

Those chips are easy to fix, get the touchup paint from a local dealer, easy. Can't see the dent, are they making the gen 3 fenders out of metal now?? They used to be composite and composite doesn't dent it just cracks.

Well I guess that was more of my question. It’s on the actual body but can that be repaired?

Get the touch up pen as Corona said. In 3 months you'll forget they were there. When my Raptor was just a baby, it sustained many boo boos. I ran over some tiny saplings getting to a hunting spot.

A different time, after I shot a deer, adrenaline was so high I forgot my climber was on my back. Reached in to put my bow in the back seat and BANG. Nice size sized chip off the paint.
