seriously...this is why i would gladly pay $1,000 if i had to for a zen. ($50 was nice though) 100% digital signal without the hassle of converting high level down to low level.

being able to use a factory stereo and clean inputs to an aftermarket amp was the holy grail back in the 80's and 90's. and it couldnt be done. Now it is at least possible.


Back in the 80's and 90's the stock HU were garbage, but at least they were all somewhat standard sized that you could easily replace it with an aftermarket one just using a simple install bracket. These days manufactures have the stereo controls spread out all over the damn dash that you need to replace half the dash and electronics just to add a new unit in. Now the Install kits cost more than the stereo your installing.
