hey ya'll. just installed a series 77 on my 2014 6.2l. the new location of the sensor makes for a real tight fit to the sensor, i have almost no slack in the wiring. would simply cutting the wire the soldering additional wire length be ok? are there snap in extensions for the 6.2l (haven't had luck finding one yet)? if i cut it are there any special wiring i should use? cant imagine there is more than 4-5 volts going to it.

thanks

you should be ok extending the wire length, just be sure your soldering is done properly to ensure a good connection to reduce resistance and joint fatigue.

Interesting. I have a K&N intake on my Gen 1 and the wiring has plenty of slack. Do you have any pics?

Not anymore! I soldered 4” of wire in and wrapped it up. My MAF is on the bottom of the intake tube. That seemed to be the problem
