GEN 1 MagnaFlow 12599 Muffler

Anyone running this MagnaFlow 12599 3" dual in/out muffer?
Has an X-Pipe inside the muffler.

Don't have, but I don't think it will be too loud.

I installed the Magnaflow #12388 muffler some years ago. Having the exact same dimensions of the factory muffler, it is a direct weld-in replacement. The interior design is straight through - you can see right through it from one end to the other. It is not louder than the factory muffler. It is a little deeper in tone and smoother, but doesn't have the wild raspy sound of the factory muffler at large throttle openings. I have noted no performance or mpg gains whatsoever from installing this muffler, so there's no advantage in doing so. And I miss that raspy wide open throttle sound.
