Very curious, what’s the lowest mileage Gen 1 have you ever seen , since it’s the 1st Gen is it a collectors piece under the F150 brand , love to know more. Thanks

Well stay away from the 2010’s as they were mostly built with the 5.4 l except for some of the later Builds had the 6.2l. from 2011 till 2014 they were all 6.2. They were the best At that time. Gen 2 and now gen3 are much more refined. The 6.2 is large and heavy for the power it produces. 411hp vs 450 and the gen2 and gen3 weigh less. but you could get them and the gen2 in supercab. Shorter and better looking imho. I would say you might see some 2014’s with low miles around 40,000 miles or so. I saw a couple on eBay last week. They were 2014 special edition crew cabs.

I wouldn’t say they were a collector piece. Unless you were holding a low mileage one for 30 to 40 years. They were svt product back then and they did try to not make as many as they did in 2017 to 2020. I know in 2011 they made about 11135 of them and about 2108 of them were silver. It’s not like the 1999 to 2004 lightning that they made less than 6000 a year.

Great info , I’m a new Gen 3 owner and plan to keep the truck low mileage, weekend warrior only. Not planning to do any motor upgrades just to keep engine stock for future resell , been down the road with other vehicles with two much mods and lowering the value
