Are you happy with this system? I've been hearing a lot of people saying the Sport version isn't loud enough, some switched to the Extreme. But I'm worried the Extreme would be way too loud for my neighborhood.

Any drone with the sport version?

None at all. My wife is very sensitive to drone and noisy exhausts, and she loves this setup. I did just buy the resonator delete to make it the Extreme. Plan to install it in the next day or two. I’ll post another video with it in action for comparison. The Sport can sound pretty loud on cold start up near the tips, but calms down quickly. Reminds me of a muscle car sometimes. Even towing a trailer, there is no drone, which is a big plus in my book. What’s nice, is it can be loud when you want it to be, but quiet the rest of the time.

Awesome, thanks so much - exactly the feedback I was looking for. I'd love to see the comparison once you have it installed.

I plan on installing it maybe tomorrow or Tuesday.

That's the first exhaust system I've seen with the helmholtz resonator. And single tailpipe. Right on. No need for dual pipes coming from the stock Raptor mid-pipe since it's only a single. Never could figure out why Ford did a 2 into 1 into 2. It looks fake.

Finally took time this afternoon to put my resonator delete on. Here’s a cold startup. Outside temps were in the high 70’s, so I figure it may be louder when it’s about freezing out. Seems to be a deeper tone than before, but not too much louder. It’ll be a day or two before I can get some footage on the road with it. It’s not my daily driver.

Here’s a video with the resonator. Same locations and similar temps. Just for quick comparison. Both recorded with my iPhone 7, I think.

Of the two, I like the sound with the resonator.

The good thing is, it’s not too hard to swap the resonator back in. I haven’t driven it yet, so I still don’t know if I’ll like it or not. I can’t tell much difference in person as of right now. I really figured it would be a lot louder, but I’m glad it’s not. I’ll, get some more videos of it in action soon.

A db sound meter is needed to compare. I found it really necessary when doing the exhaust on my machine. Videos don't give a clear comparison on loudness, only tone.
