Damn that is amazing what that 3.5 will do! The 2018 is a local 1 owner also, so I like it’s history better than the 2014. Tomorrow is going to be fun!!

Crawl under and Check the oil pan on the 18! I think early 18’s had a plastic oil pan and mid year they went to a metal one! Also take you a infrared thermometer with you and 1st thing pop the hood to mal sure engine is cold! MAKE SURE YOU TELL THE SALES PERSON TO NOT START THE TRUCK UNTIL YOU DO! (This is so you can listen to the phasers on cold start!)

Ok, I knew that about the oil pan but hadn’t heard about the phasers. What should I listen for on those?

FYI ford fixed the phaser issues with new parts mid 2019! The previous owner could have had the updated parts already installed
