    LMAO...congrats, man!

Nuts is an understatement. I told them in my follow-up email to the salesman that I was not interested in the Raptor after the test drive due to the color (I don't want black) and price. That I believe, based on the market (which I have been gauging for the better part of the past year), theirs is overpriced.

Needless to say, I never got a response.

I was looking at spending 45-48 on a low mileage 14, I build an 18 with 801a and bunch of other stuff, for 61ish, never looked back. The torsen and locking diff on the beach absolutely kicks ass. YMMV.

Fair enough. The Gen 1's are already at the top of my budget, so a Gen 2 is absolutely out of the question. But if I could swing it, I would. I get the whole V8 vs EcoBoost argument, but the Gen 2 is better in just about every category. And it is SOOO badass looking.

Luckily, the Gen 1 is still badass looking, too. And hence, my obsession! ha

Yep, Gen2 loses on sound, not much else.

Funny thing, non motor heads actually like the sound....go figure.
    5500 lbs 0-60 in a little over 5 seconds..wtf...i'll take it.

I'm an old GM guy, V8s, 4bbl, edelbrock, headers, straight pipes,,,,neighbors cursing at you. :)

    New to me 2014 Raptor

I just got this one in October, 2014 Raptor CC 801A I am the 2nd owner.
The previous owner installed a Borla exhaust, that sold me when the salesman started the truck for my test drive.
I have since installed a Bak flip, tailgate helper, AFE CAI, Lund bed extender Fuel Hostage wheels 20x9 with Nitto Terra Grappler G2's and lund vent visors. I have a Livewire TS but forgot to unmarry it from my trade which was a 2010 Platinum CC, so i have to send it out to SCT.
    Good luck on your search.
