Listen to music while on phone? Bluetooth

So I have noticed that even if your phone is in Privacy Mode, you cant listen to music or have the music playing for the other people in the car.. Any way to change this?

I know that the Silverado has an auto feature that when in private the music plays....

I like it like that.... if I'm on the phone I don't want the extra noise of the radio. I think all my cars have been like that.
