GEN 2 Leaf-springs...is this normal?

I get a clunk like sound when backing into my sloped driveway. I looked at the shocks and everything was tight and not loose.

I noticed the passenger side leaf spring looked a bit different when compared to the driver side. Is this normal or something to have the dealership look into.

Mine looks just like that. No paint or anti-rust treatment whatsoever. One of these days I'm going to crawl under there with a wire wheel and some rust treatment.
